Greetings!
I have two designs in the Virtual fashion show this year.
My first piece is called, "Woven Warrior", as silver plastic strips are woven together to create the front of the top. The back is made from lace curtain sections , denim jean scraps and a large vintage button. Skinny jeans are distressed with cut-outs that are embellished with embroidery thread, plastic and lace appliques and metallic paint.
The second design is called, "La-Den-Plas", to echo the recycled elements -Lace/Denim/Plastic. A sweet top is made from denim jeans, plastic appliques, vintage buttons and a lace curtain. The repurposed cotton skirt features an allover patchwork of lace, denim and plastic pieces, with a fringed hem of denim and plastic strips.
