What's a wiggle dress? This dress was worn during the 1950s and is narrower at the hemline than the hips. This design caused women to walk with little steps and swaying hips, hence a wiggle. This vintage wiggle dress is made with dryer sheets dyed magenta and then fused onto a bed sheet. I am the owner/designer of wearwatts (Shopify website coming after Thanksgiving!). wearwatts uses deconstructed men's neckties to create 'Always unique, Always one of a kind" handcrafted fashion. The goal of wearwatts is to upcycle a masculine business icon to create beautiful feminine fashion. Check out the upcoming fashion collection of purses, corsets, dresses and memorial hearts.

"We acknowledge the original inhabitants of this place- the Aboriginal Swinomish, Lower Skagit, Kikiallus, and Aboriginal Samish- and their descendants the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community (Swadabs). Since time immemorial they have hunted, fished, gathered and taken care of these lands. We respect their sovereignty, their right to self-determination and we honor their sacred spiritual connection with the land and the water."
